Equal parts impressive and disappointing
An exceptional breakfast in the courtyard with great service left a lasting impression. Additionally, the clean and modern rooms provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploring.
Unfortunately, the swimming pool area was unexpectedly closed during our stay, limiting our relaxation options. Also, there were some minor maintenance issues that detracted from the overall experience.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay. The room was comfy with a great bed and updated bathroom. We loved the courtyard and enjoyed breakfast there every morning, especially the French pressed coffee. The staff, especially Elsie, Isaac, and Miguelito, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We'll definitely return!

missingWrote a review on Nov 10inner courtyardhistorical featureslimited options
The inner courtyard offers a pleasant terrace for meals and events, which adds a nice touch to the ambiance. Unique historical features, such as original drawings of American plans regarding the Nicaragua Canal, enhance the overall experience.
The breakfast service lacks variety, with many guests leaving food uneaten due to limited options. Noise levels can be a hassle in the morning, especially with cleaning activities starting early.

I really enjoyed my stay with the fantastic hot water showers and the cozy, clean room. The relaxing garden area and full body massage really helped me unwind after a long day. Just a heads-up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty in the room but it didn't dampen my overall experience. 🌿

Exceptional staff and a peaceful stay
I had a lovely experience with the staff going above and beyond during my stay. Special mentions to Isaac and Miguel who were genuinely attentive and accommodating. The breakfast served in the beautiful courtyard, featuring French pressed coffee and fresh juices, was a delightful treat. However, the breakfast options could use a bit more variety to cater to different tastes.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the center, making it easy to explore bars and restaurants. However, the hotel has some mixed elements. the common areas lack air conditioning and the breakfast hours weren't consistent. Our room lacked windows and had some maintenance issues, like a broken towel bar. While the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the lack of reliable Wi-Fi in the rooms was a drawback. We did enjoy the freshly prepared salads at breakfast, which added a nice touch to our mornings.
